Create or assemble your full 26 letter alphabet.

Document your letterforms in the supplied fold out booklet / poster format. Sequence an 8 page booklet featuring all of your letters and numbers. One color only. Print and fold at least two copies.

Instructions
We are using a simple format which reduces a single sheet of paper down to a sequenced 8 page booklet. Follow this tutorial for instructions on how to print and fold your booklet into pages. When dealing with a series of pages, we are now considering pacing and narrative. Understand that the object you are designing is linear: a viewer encounters the booklet one spread at a time. How can you pace the booklet in order to surprise the viewer, consider variation, scale, and structure as key components to pacing out your booklet.

Be inspired by Grilli Type’s specimen websites. You will notice each website has it’s own art direction. Now’s your chance to use your type in situation, consider how it works as words and lines of text.
