Journal
You are to begin a journal specific to your junior year at SVA. This journal is meant to be filled with things you're reading, thinking, listening to, watching, looking at, discovering, sketching and otherwise interested in. It does not (and should not) be all graphic design imagery.
You need to be constantly updating your blog. Try to add a piece of content every day. Get into the habit of documenting these thoughts, make use of Tumblr's bookmarklet tool and if you think something is cool save it. We will be using this content for a project at the end of the semester.
We will have one-on-one check-in's to breifly see how this is going every few weeks. Your Tumblr can be private or public, it's your choice. Regardless, use Mark Kremers Syndex theme. Dont worry about changing the way it looks or functions.
Once you have your blog set up (and would like it public) send it to me and I'll link to it on this site.
